A Primary goal of the Village Centre BID is to enhance the district through redevelopment and rehabilitation of
existing properties. There are several significant historic properties which have been renovated over the recent years
into a specialty floral shop, a restaurant, a bakery/deli and an art gallery. The Village of Menomonee Falls, through
its Tax Incremental financing has greatly enhanced the Mill Pond area near Main Street by creating Veteranís Parkway
complete with a 35-seat amphitheater, a beautiful 8-sided gazebo, red bricked parkway and a veteranís memorial area
with 3 flagpoles. This $10,000 improvement also addressed the west side of the Mill Pond and a new shelter with
restrooms, a kitchen, outdoor grill, and undercover seating for 35 offers the opportunity for many events, promotions,
private family get togethers and company picnics.
To improve properties and enhance the tax base though the retention and expansion of existing
business, and the development of new, small businesses in the Village Centre boundry area.
WE EXIST to enhance the economic conditions and the property values of the Village Centre by offering programs of economic development and redevelopment, marketing, maintenance and similar initiatives that meet the needs of the businesses and property owners.
WE ARE DEDICATED to enhance the economic viability of the Village Centre and to work cooperatively with the Village of
Menomonee Falls municipal government, property and business owners and other groups by implementing strategies that
are effective and that have positive outcomes.
OUR FOCUS includes quality of life events for the benefit of the entire community. These events shall enhance tourism
and provide a family friendly environment for the entire community.
