Kids Fishing Derby       Mill Pond Park
The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls will host the 2016 Kids Catch and Release Fishing Derby on Saturday May 14th, 2016 at the Mill Pond in downtown Menomonee Falls. The contest is free and is open to all boys and girls age three through 16 that reside or attend school in the Menomonee Falls area.

Registration for the event will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Mill Pond Shelter. The fishing contest will be from 10:00 am to Noon followed immediately by the presentation of trophies and door prizes. Bring your own fishing equipment. A limited supply of bait will be provided. Children under nine years old must be accompanied by an adult. 16 year olds must have a fishing license. Food will be sold during the event by the Menomonee Falls Neighborhood Watch
Note: This year the Associated Bank and Village Parking Lots located to the west of Mill Pond will be closed during the event due to construction. Please allow extra time prior to the event to find alternative parking.

Knights of Columbus brings you the Lucky Ducky Derby the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

Held at Mill Pond Park, thousands of little yellow duckies will be let go and "race" their way to the finish line. Race starts at 3:00 pm.

Get your ticket(s) that sponsors a duck and you just might be a winner!  You can purchase tickets to enter a duck in the derby by visiting the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse or the Village Centre Office at the 4 corners or they will be sold on May 28th near the bridge on Main St.

Food & beverage will be available before and during the race at the park pavilion beginning at noon and visit our beer tent on Main St. during the Falls Memorial Fest. Live music for everyone's enjoyment!
